Gun battle erupts near basketball game at Lee School and Harambee Park, but at least the gunmen were terrible shots

A possible road-rage gun battle on Talbot Avenue sent people at a basketball game at the courts near the Lee School on Talbot Avenue in Dorchester fleeing in panic around 8:45 p.m. Nobody seemed to get hit, at least.

At least one car was hit.

Officers from across the city were called in to help reunite kids and parents, evacuate the park and to look for evidence.

Talbot Avenue was shut between Blue Hill Avenue and Bernard Street.
