Probably because racist Mayor Wu didn't invite white people to her holiday party and put bike lanes on Centre Street. Resign, Mayor Wu, and go back to Chicago. All violence is Mayor Wu's fault, and probably because she's a racist.

(Wu's goal is 32 by 2026, and anything under 39 is the lowest since 1980 except for the 31 in 1999, so … yeah. I'd like to see a "vision zero" goal for murders, though.)

Thanks Ari.

I had to get off at Kendall the other night because a train broke down at Harvard.

$17.85 + $5 tip to get to Davis for an appointment.

Instead of ranting about the minds of people you are not going to change, keep advocating for good transit and try to not to forget a lot of people dislike the mayor because people like you think those who are against the mayor are simpletons.

As with everything in life, it is not that simple.

Thanks.

I seriously can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not…

A proper metric should be murders+overdose deaths.

The Met (London PD) covers an area of over 600 square miles as opposed to BPD having jurisdiction of just over 60. That means the Met would cover Weston and Lincoln as well as Roslindale.

The Met covers a population of just under 9 million. The City of Boston has a population of what 675K?

Massachusetts had 157 murders this year with a population of just under 7 million. Therefore, Metro London is a hell of a lot safer than here.

You are mixing apples and elderberries with your comparisons. What's your point?
