Man shot to death on Hammond Street in Roxbury; suspect arrested

Victim identified as Maceo Martin, 41.

Boston Police report a man was shot in an apartment at 17 Hammond St. in Roxbury around 1:35 a.m.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Children were in the apartment at the time of the shooting.

Police later reportedarrest of Widmaer Lapaix, 27, of North Attleboro, on a charge of murder.
