Stash's Pizza Co. of Norwood is nearing completion of its first Roslindale outlet, at 330 Belgrade Ave. That's the former home of MJ's, which closed last summer.

Stash's says it serves New York-style pizza.

Its opening will end the pizza gap on Belgrade between Rustica Pizza off Walworth and the pizza district along Centre Street in West Roxbury.

Boston Restaurant Talk reports Mangia Neopolitan Pizza is looking to move into the space recently vacated by Parlour Pizza, which slightly less recently replaced the Upper Crust franchise on Centre Street.

What could make Mangia different from its predecessors in the space is that, in addition to pizza, it also serves frozen yogurt.

Police are looking for a trio of Hispanic men who held up a pizza deliverer at gunpoint around 9:40 p.m. outside 145 Intervale St. - to which he'd been summoned with a pizza.

After taking his phone, money and the pizza, one of the men drove off in his silver Isuzu Rodeo. The other two then stood there, opened up the pizza box and began eating, as the driver fled to Columbia Road.
