Pizza place to replace pizza place that replaced pizza place
By adamg on Fri, 03/07/2014 - 1:00pm
Boston Restaurant Talk reports Mangia Neopolitan Pizza is looking to move into the space recently vacated by Parlour Pizza, which slightly less recently replaced the Upper Crust franchise on Centre Street.
What could make Mangia different from its predecessors in the space is that, in addition to pizza, it also serves frozen yogurt.

They
should just do the inevitable, turn it in to a f'n bank.
Fro-yo?
The Parlour had pizza and ice cream. Pizza and fro-yo isn't much of a change.
You know what would REALLY work in West Roxbury? A combination bank and nail salon!
Only if
There was a dentist office in the back
I would love it if it became a
Falafel King. Or a B Good. Too bad the odds of a pizza place/bank/nail salon are faaaaaaar greater.
the king tried and failed
A place by the people who run shawarma king tried and failed on center.
That's because it wasn't very good
And people remembered when Samia's, which it replaced, and which had been there for seemingly forever, was good.
I'm so sad the Parlour closed
I'm so sad the Parlour closed. Such amazing pizza & awesome owners. I just fugured a bank would go in.

Where are savings or coupons available for Stone Hearth Pizza delivery?...
I would love if a
QUALITY sandwich spot moved in. NOT a sub-shop but something for like City-Feed (minus the groceries) in JP, .
"What could make Mangia different from its predecessor"
Actually paying their workers?
Wrong answer
The West Roxbury Upper Crust was a franchise (owned by a local guy, I think) and had nothing to do with the employment practices of the original Upper Crust - which also screwed the franchise owners in some Groupon deal.
mystery solved
Comella's down the street sells amazing large cheese pizzas for only $5. You had to pay the same amount for one slice at the Upper Crust. I wonder why they ran out of business...
Grrr
You had to mention Comella's. Now I want a Mess ...
