In our family, "budge" also means bosom or breasts. My grandmother always kept tissues "down her budge." If you asked her for one, she'd fish it out and then hand it to you saying "and it's even warm - it's been down my budge."

Growing up in Southie, I always understood the term "budge" to mean inside the front of your clothing,
whether it be your shirt or pants. Example: if you wanted to steal a record, you would most
likely "shove it in/or down your budge."
