By the cover of these books, I’d say!

Can political policy be truly ascertained through skin pigment or physical manifestation for that matter?

I saw a box of fruity pebbles at the grocery store yesterday that said “PART OF A NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST.” Fingers crossed!!

You all come in with the same bored "wHy dOeS RaCe MaTTeR?" takes every time. It's stale. It's also ignorant of the history of the Council. It's been a joke for most of its existence. All those white men on it didn't do much except get their supporters jobs in City Hall and fill an occasional pot hole. You have a body now that finally is doing some actual substantive work at the same time it's getting more reflective of the city's diversity. I don't think it's a coincidence. Policy cannot be ascertained by race and no one is suggesting it can be. But this current crop is doing a good job on the merits, and now the new members will be judged on what they actually do too. That's a good thing for the city no matter what you look like.

How can they be doing a good job already?

Wanna talk stale? You CANT bust our balls when your response is just a knee jerk emotional response based upon...EMOTION.

A more accurate headline would be "Fewest white males in history inaugurated to Boston City Council".

"Diversity" of the city council was off the scale when it included a trans black Republican person.
