Emerging from quarantine like ...

Roving UHub photographer Mary Ellen went up to Belle Isle Marsh on the East Boston/Winthrop line yesterday and reports the marsh was just full of all sorts of birds returning to the area for the summer, including a frazzled looking snowy egret.
Also, a fearless red-winged blackbird took after an osprey:

Yes!
The Belle Isle marsh is not too far from the Suffolk Downs stop.
It really is a semi-hidden gem, especially if you're interested in birds.

Revere Beach. I walked around the prison camp in the middle.
