West Roxbury to join Allston/Brighton and Mission Hill as places to party hard? The Roslindale Transcript reports on an early-morning Sept. 16 raid on Baker Street that allegedly ended with the following discussion:
... After officers asked the suspect a second time to go downstairs, DiMarsco allegedly told police, "I'm not [expletive] going downstairs, my dad's a cop." DiMarsco then allegedly began fighting with police. He was eventually subdued and handcuffed. ...
NOTE: I originally called the discussion an "only in Westie" sort of thing, but, as you can see from the comments below, that is unfair to drunk-out-of-their-minds people in other parts of the city.

Only in Westie? I'm a cop in Dorchester, and I get the "My Dad's a cop/firefighter" line all the time. I don't think it is only common in West Roxbury.
True, true

Just when I saw that line in a story out of West Roxbury, well, it just seemed to fit.

A lot were good Boston Latin and Catholic Memorial lads. But I thought they've all grown up and gone off to college by now.
