Man shot to death on Adams Street in Dorchester

Victim identified as James Martin, 26.

Boston Police report a man was shot at 336 Adams St., at Neponset Avenue, around 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Live Boston reports as many as 10 shots may have been fired.

The Universal Hub map of Boston murders shows a striking picture this year. 95% of the 41 murders are found within what looks like ¼ of the City's area. Dorchester has seen 11 murders so far, and this is the first one to happen on the East side of Dot Ave.
