Man shot repeatedly in Dorchester

Update: Suspect arrested.

Live Boston reports BPD officers responding to a ShotSpotter call found a man with several gunshot wounds in a car at Gallivan Boulevard and Adams Street around 3:15 a.m.

Because of the severity of the man's injuries, the homicide unit was called in. Several other people in the car, including a young child, were uninjured.

Police eventually found evidence the man may have been shot more than a mile away, at Victory Road and Adams Street.
