Police: Argument on the Red Line turns into a stabbing at Fields Corner

Transit Police report arresting a Quincy man they say ended an argument that began on a train heading to Ashmont by stabbing his opponent in the stomach as the train pulled into Fields Corner shortly before 11:45 p.m on Sunday.

Michael Buckley, 40, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police say, adding his victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
