Man fires gun repeatedly at plainclothes cop on Waumbeck Street in Roxbury, misses, is arrested

Boston Police report a man walked up to a plainclothes officer sitting in an unmarked car during an investigation outside 43 Waumbeck St. around 6 p.m. and fired several shots at him, but missed.

The officer radioed in a description and other officers found and arrested Alberto Polanco, 20, of Roxbury, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm withing 500 feet of a dwelling.

Live Boston reports Polanco was a member of the H Block Gang, and that the failed murder comes about a month after another H Block member posted a rap video calling for killing cops.
