Assuredly though not a New York pidgeon

In 2020 there was a NY Times article that explained that at a level of genetic coding there are distinctions between New England pigeons and the from New York to Washington. Apparently pigeons prefer urban environments and so do not cross over the Great Connecticut Barrier.
Assuredly there will come a day however, when a Great Pigeon will cross the divide. Thus shall all northeastern pigeons be one. Humans beware.
Leads me to wonder whether the Turkey Liberation Movement is in cahoots with the fine feathery friends of urban domicile.
