Scooterjacked in Roslindale

Boston Police are looking for three young teens, one armed with what looked like a gun, who stole a person's scooter at Cummins Highway and Sycamore Street around 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
In addition to being threatened to get off his green Gater scooter, the victim was punched in the arm.

Can we get a description of the teens so I know what to look out for? I have had things stolen from my area in Roslindale and would like to see who might be responsible for doing this.
When did we start calling
When did we start calling mopeds scooters? I mean we actually have motorized scooters now: This stuff is getting confusing.
Mopeds have pedals. Scooters have a floorboard.
The distinction isn't usually important since both perform similarly on the road (since their engines usually produce similar power/speed), and the terms are often misused, but a scooter does not have pedals for propulsion, a moped does.
