Six guys showed up at Archdale development in Roslindale with loaded guns; three arrested, three sped off to Charlestown, police say

Boston Police report arresting three teens - one just 14 - they say weren't fast enough to get back into their car when police showed up at the Archdale development in Roslindale after somebody called 911 to report six guys in ski masks get out of a car, all with guns, Tuesday night.

Police report all three of the teens they arrested after foot chases, one of which ended near the train tracks, the other on the other side of Washington Street, had loaded guns. The car that sped off with three other people was eventually found, empty, on Medford Street in the Bunker Hill development in Charlestown, police say.

According to police, officers arrived at 80 Brookway Rd. around 11:15 p.m.:

The group observed officers and immediately began to run. Officers were able to follow the suspects in their cruiser and observed a firearm in one of the individual’s hands. Officers stopped their cruiser and a foot pursuit ensued. Officers observed three individuals enter into a vehicle and flee the scene.

Officers were able to locate a suspect attempting to conceal an unknown object under his sweatshirt. Officers ordered the suspect to show his hands, but the suspect disregarded and began to run. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect as he jumped over a fence. Officers canvassed the flight path of the suspect, and were able to recover a firearm.

As more officers arrived on scene, they observed two males running towards the area of 25 Colegate Road. Officers were able to apprehend two suspects, and recovered a firearm. Officers continued to search the flight path of the two suspects, and recovered a firearm.

The recovered firearms were later determined to be a Walther PPK with one round in the chamber and three rounds in the magazine, a Ghost Gun with one round in the chamber and fifteen rounds in the magazine, and a Lurcin I-380 with one round in the chamber and five rounds in the magazine,

The 14-year-old, too young to have his name released, was charged as delinquent for illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and trespassing. A 16-year-old, also too young to be publicly identified, was charged with the same offenses and illegal possession of a large-capacity feeding device, police say.

Benjamin Omar Pineda, 18, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of a loaded firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, according to records at West Roxbury Municipal Court. Pineda was released to home confinement, on condition he wear a GPS device.
