Jamaica Plain man charged with Dorchester armed robbery

Boston Police report arresting Jonathan Lopez, 27, of Jamaica Plain, on charges he was the gunmen among a group that robbed somebody of their fanny pack, phone and watch at 15 Greenheys St. in Dorchester Tuesday night.

According to police, Lopez and some pals approached the victim around 9:40 p.m. and displayed a gun before robbing him.

Lopez was arrested around 12:15 p.m. yesterday at 195 Heath St., and was charged with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, police say.
