Two shot, one in the head, on Glenway Street in Dorchester

Two people were shot, one in the head, on Glenway Street at Maybrook Street around 1:40 a.m.

The second victim was grazed in the neck and back.

Police found multiple shell casings in the street. At least two houses and one car were hit by bullets.

Not long after, an officer on patrol on Columbia Road spotted a vehicle matching a description of a vehicle seen leaving the scene; the driver led police on a chase through the side streets of Uphams Corner before getting onto Dorchester Avenue and then crashing at Dorchester Avenue and Dorset Street. One person in the car tried to run away, but did not get far before he was taken into custody. The second person was injured in the crash.
