I am gutted over this. More than a house. Unique and gone forever. I remember when it was overgrown and perfect and an old lady would shuffle out to call her poodles in for dinner--then, it was perfect. I said it was doomed when she left and I was right. It didn't happen like I thought it would though. The new owners loved it and didn't chop it up and condo-ize it or kill it with landscaping and granite counter-tops (they might have, actually, but I don't really know) and I thought it was saved until some idiot with a torch set it on fire and ruined another little slice of JP.

Don't Despair
It looks bad, but they can fix it. This is what insurance is for.
