Funny but true: Aaron Michlewitz didn't actually get elected state rep from the North End and the South End last month. He only won the Democratic primary, even though the local press seems to think he's already serving, at least based on the amount of coverage they're not giving the race.
The election to determine who actually replaces Sal DiMasi is this Tuesday, when Michlewitz faces independent John Keith and Republican David Trumbull. What are the odds turnout won't even break four figures?

In today's issue, why did you run a 'Conversation with the Candidates' article about Aaron Michlewitz, and another article about David Trumbull, but no article about John Keith?
Not so bad ...

Ron, thanks for the shout-out, but there was no disrespect on the Courant's part. My "Conversations" article appeared last week. I'll put a copy of it on my website, asap (the Courant is not on the web).
What voters and others interested in this vote should find interesting is that the Boston Courant and South End News both chose to endorse no one in the general election, even though they both endorsed in the primary.
