If the British really wanted to reclaim City Hall Plaza, would we stop them?

One of the more charming parts of July Fourth in Boston is when a troop of Redcoats fail to collapse in the heat in their woolen uniforms re-take a set of steps on the site of City Hall Plaza. They've been doing it for years, and, amazingly, no Minutemen ever show up to confront them. 16WadeSt watched them advance up the stairs this weekend.

Redcoats
I saw them later at Kinsale and thought it strange that the Redcoats would be eating at an Irish pub.
Try that at a grittier pub
They'll be driven out!
One St. Patrick's day, we're at Bukowski, and this guy walks in with a stupid green hat. Buks is famously anti-holidays. One of the Irish girl bartenders waiting tables spots him from across the length of the place, as he's just stepped in the door. She starts jumping up and down and screaming at him over everyone, in her Irish accent. "Take off the feckin' hat! Take off the feckin' hat!" The guy suddenly looks sheepish and bewildered. "Don't leave! Just take off the feckin' hat!"
Redcoats would've lost their hats.
