We didn't get in. the big gym was filled by 5:30 and hundreds were locked out. That was bad for us, but spoke well of the voters.
People really, really wanted to hear and speak. Good on 'em.

Personally, I believe if people act like children, they should be treated like them and taken from the room for a "time out". Love to say see a rep say the same thing, and their wide angry eyes when it happens.

My wife went
She said things were mostly civilized. Questioners were picked by lottery (her "ticket" didn't get picked). She said it seemed like pretty much everyone there had already made up their minds. Lynch wasn't making any clear commitments, however.

I really wanted to go to his forum. It seemed like he was being very quiet about this issue and now it appears as if he hasn't made up his mind yet. He says reform is needed and that he's read HR 3200 during his vacation, however, he hasn't thrown his support behind it.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out as he's been mentioned as a contender for the vacant Senate seat.
