So where are the national morning TV talking heads, front page spreads, center article on Boston.com? I mean we did all that for the MBTA operator who pulled the emergency break after a whole crowd of people and her radio told her to do so for some drunk who fell into the subway pit. So this guy who has now saved the lives of two little girls by running into a builds that are on fire doesn't get the attention? Oh that's right, we don't have the three angles of video highlights. Perhaps Local 718 should demand cameras be added to their trucks.
I guess it's less impressive

I guess it's less impressive when it's your job to save people, right?

No, I got your meaning, no tags required. But there was also an interesting point to be made about differing thresholds for newsworthy.
Superman can fly is only newsworthy once. But five year old jumps from fifth story window and lives is newsworthy ever time it happens.
Agreed on all points!
