Afternoon shooting in Dorchester leaves teen dead

Boston Police report an 18-year-old was found shot around 1:20 p.m. at 34 Mallon Rd. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. AlertNewEngland reports the victim was shot in the chest.
