Lies, damned lies and Shaughnessy columns
By adamg on Sun, 08/27/2006 - 3:49pm
His Shankness concludes from the past few games that Ramirez is off in orbit again:
... Bloggers, e-mail friends, fanboys, and other wonderful Globe readers: Please, this is not a Manny rip job. These are facts. ...
He then proceeds to state how wonderfully Ramirez has played the rest of the year, but announces we need to be suspicious because Ramirez won't talk to the media. Ever wonder why he won't talk to you, Mr. CHB?

Shaughnessy
I pretty much stopped reading Dan Shaughnessy's work years ago. It seems that the only way he can write a column is if he's ripping on someone, and that shtick got old for me a long time ago.
Shaughnessy
I really think he's lost it on the Manny issue. I e-mailed him saying that I agreed with him on a lot of prior August
Manny-Being-Manny Exhibitions, that I thought in this case he owed the
guy a public apology. His response to me was that the MRI was
negative -- as if that was proof positive that Manny was faking
it. As Barnicle learned, it's never good when the columnist
becomes the story......
