C'est LaGuer

You go away (mentally, at any rate) for a couple of days and you come back and people are still going on about the LaGuer case. Here goes:

Blue Mass. Group: Healey is soft on crime prevention. Also: Some people need to remember a little thing called the Constitution. What would John Adams have said?

On Boonville Blog, Jeff writes Healey's Willie Horton II ad has pretty much convinced him to vote for Patrick:

...Lawyers have a right and a duty to defend even the lowest of the low. That's how the judicial system works. Even the worst get representation.

Carpundit: If you like criminals, vote for Deval:

Nevermind that Deval Patrick wants to help rapists get out of jail and nevermind that Deval Patrick wants to make Massachusetts the mecca for illegal aliens, but focus instead on his meeting with Billy Bulger, aka the Corrupt Midget. Deval Patrick went to Bulger to solicit his help in the election. If you believe only half of the allegations, Billy Bulger is a crook and a liar and an abettor of felonies. I think he should be in prison.

Patrick's judgment is bad. His inclinations are wrong. And he can't tell the good guys from the bad. That kind of governor we don't need. ...

Mark Mills says Patrick has only himself to blame for L'affaire LaGuer.

Jay Fitzgerald says Patrick's meeting with Billy Bulger means return of the Progressive-Hack Alliance.

Hub Politics: Patrick is no outsider. Also, pretty hypocritical of Demmies to complain about negative advertising, and that Patrick isn't the least bit sorry for supporting a rapist.

Greg on Mass. Revolution Now counters that DNA tests have freed people wrongly convicted, and that's what Patrick was seeking - further proof of whether LaGuer was guilty.

GOP News says Patrick's a rapist-lovin' fool.

On Squaring the Boston Globe, Harry analyzes Patrick's Clintonian apology.

On My Unfocused Life, Gregg reports what one person in Brighton apparently really thinks of Kerry Healey.

Devone sees parallels between the Bush/Gore election and Healey/Patrick and says Healey will shock the liberalistas next month - despite their and the press's smearing of her as a racist.
