Our own Ron Newman reports the Pier One in Porter Square is being replaced by a Walgreens, right across the street from a CVS.

That's a much better Pier 1 than Coolidge Corner - I go to Porter just to shop there... :(

yeah two drug stores side by side but I lived in Porter for years and loathed going into that CVS because it was always TOO busy. You'd wait forever for a prescription, or to check out. Walgreens will take some of that business away from CVS.
