Boston celebrates the Fourth, daytime edition

since the Esplanade has been evacuated, and it is might not even rain down there. I understand the concerns, but hell, I looked at the radar when that was going down a little while ago and saw a dying thunderstorm that was going to pass by to the northeast of the city.

I suppose I would have erred on the side of caution too, but I would have liked to see a larger and solid line of storms (as opposed to a single cell) before I ordered several hundred thousand people to move.

I hope that everything stays orderly down there.
