Police: Woman brings kid with her to steal $10,000 purse at Copley Place

Wanted womanBoston Police report they are looking for a woman who walked into Barney's in Copley Place on Jan. 10 and walked out with a purse selling for $10,290 - without paying for it.

Police say she was accompanied by a boy, between 8 and 14.

If she looks familiar, Det. Matt Tierney would like to have a word with you, at 617-343-4683.

It wasn't the picture I was reaction to, rather the extraordinarily wide age-range given in the description. In the absence of some weird medical issue, an 8 year old is not easily confused with a 14 year old!
