Dead rabid skunk found in West Roxbury

A skunk found dead on Stimson Street has tested positive for rabies, according to the Boston Public Health Commission, which is asking anybody who may have come in contact with the skunk to contact them at 617-534-5611.
The commission plans to post flyers in the area on Wednesday to alert residents.

Shit, I was petting and hand feeding the cute SOB early last night.
I think we may have seen it
I think we may have seen it on Manthorne Rd. a couple of months back. He/she was waddling around our neighbor's yard in broad daylight without a care in the world. We called Animal Control and they showed up pretty quickly but s/he had already moved on to bigger and better things.
Too bad he's dead
It would have been a hoot if someone set him loose in Roche Bros.
