... as the Vonage ad they had a couple of years ago that covered over the whole page with Flash crap that you couldn't kill for more than 30 seconds.

I gave up on them a long time ago. Except for real estate information, I can get the same information on TV from Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood (neither of which do I watch.)
