Red Line not full of whimsy when a train dies in Quincy
By adamg on Thu, 01/26/2017 - 8:56am
A couple hours ago, a Red Line train met its maker at Quincy Adams. The T is still reporting "minor" delays between Braintree and Quincy Center due to the "residual" effects of that.

Please stop
with the rhyming titles about trains going out of service. Please. They crossed over from clever to painful long ago.
As a regular UHub reader, I respectfully disagree with you
As long as the incident isn't serious enough to involve death or injury (to quote Adam's long standing rule about invoking rhymes), the headlines are perfectly fine. My only worry is that, one of these days, Adam is going to run out of material to use, given the increasing number of MBTA breakdowns and delays.
"Pain" Is When The Ⓣ Has Service Difficulties
Adam performs a dutiful service by reporting the Ⓣ's problems with adorable rhymes that continue to be most certainly clever. You try thinking up something that rhymes on a spur-of-the-moment notice!
There are plenty of other websites (e.g: this or this) that offer transit information if that's all you're interested in. People come to Universal Hub to give more details, stories of their own experiences, and to discuss the situation.
Universal Hub is also an entertaining website. If Adam just posted "Red Line failure in Quincy" it would be a boring title. Like them or not Adams's rhymes get people talking, as this particular one did to you.
This rhyme is bad, and you
This rhyme is bad, and you should feel bad.
To counter the rhyme-haters
I found this headline hilarious (not the actual situation, tho)
