Roslindale, Hyde Park markets held up at gunpoint
Henry's Market, 892 South St., was held up around 10:25 p.m. by three masked men, possibly teens, one of whom showed a gun.
That was about 20 minutes after V&D Variety Store, 1897 River St., in Hyde Park, was held up by three men, one armed with a gun, who fled in a dark Jetta.
In the Roslindale holdup, the suspects were all described as black, 5'11" or 6'. One with the gun had brown shoes, a black or gray Northface jacket, gloves, a mask and a black cap. Another wore a light blue jacket and dark shoes. The third wore a gray hoodie with the hood up that said "Aero" on the front, a white undershirt and blue boxers (which showed when he bent over to grab money).
The robberies come two days after a market on Fairmount Avenue in Hyde Park was held up at gunpoint by three men.
