Braintree man charged with beating, stabbing Dorchester man to death during home invasion

Thomas Frank Isaac Jr., 21, of Braintree was arraignned on a murder charge today for the death of Nelson Torres-Santa, 55, who was found dead and partially decomposed in his 330 Bowdon St. apartment on the afternoon of Nov. 13.

Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office charge that Isaac forced his way into Torres-Santa's apartment on Nov. 5 with a knife, stabbed and beat him to death, then fled with electronic devices.

The medical examiner ruled Torres-Santa's death a homicide on Nov. 16.
