Two shot in Roxbury; suspect arrested
Boston Police report arresting a man at the scene of a double shooting on Eustis Street last night and arresting him for the crime.
Police say officers responding to 131 Eustis St. around 7 p.m. on a report of two people shot found two people with gunshot wounds and Glen Leshore, 54, of Roxbury, with a gun in his hand.
The victims, a man his his 50s and a woman in her 30s, were taken to local hospitals with injuries not considered life threatening Leshore was arrested on charges of assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. He was also charged with being an armed career criminal, which could mean a longer sentence if he's convicted on the other charges.
