Authorities today announced the indictment of Julian Troche, 24, for the murder of Dantley Leonard in Franklin Field on Nov. 12, 2016 - five days before he was arrested for the murder of Andrew Flonory earlier that year. Read more.
Boston Police report the man fatally shot on Ames Street Saturday afternoon was Dantley Leonard, 28, of Kingston.
Leonard, who formerly lived in Dorchester, leaves a young son and his twin brother, Danley.
A second person who was shot in the same incident is expected to survive.
Around 4:45 p.m. at 50 Ames St. The dead victim was found in front of the building; the second victim was found behind the building, shot to the shoulder and was able to walk to the ambulance. One of the victims was shot outside 70 Ames St. Read more.
