A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Tyshawn Cummings, Tyshawn Sanders and Jamari Manning of the murder of Shawn Border as he vacuumed his minivan on Oct. 18, 2016, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

As Shawn Borden vacuumed out his minivan on Dorchester Avenue on a warm October evening, three men slowly drove by him in a rented black Ford Fusion. Ten minutes later, they drove by him once more. And then, Assistant Suffolk County District Attorney Catherine Ham said this morning, they parked around the corner. One got out and opened fire, pulling the trigger 15 times, fatally wounding Borden, Ham said. Read more.
Boston Police report arresting three men on murder charges for the shooting death of Shawn Borden, 41, shortly before 6 p.m. on Oct. 11 on Dorchester Avenue at Dix Street.
Borden is survived by his mother, Barbara, a civilian employee of the Boston Police Department. Read more.
