A man's planned $120 bed romp at the Back Bay Hilton turned into an armed robbery that ended with the prostitute and another john arrested immediately - and him being summonsed into court on a charge of sex for a fee - BPD detectives told the Boston Licensing Board this morning. Read more.

A woman from the Bronx faces armed-robbery charges and her male companion from Lawrence faces gun charges after she robbed a man who'd contacted them via a Web page for some paid sex at the Back Bay Hilton last week, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

There are already several warning signs at Boylston and Dalton streets in the Back Bay. Spysqueeze noticed this morning a new one has been posted.

The Sheraton Boston Hotel on Dalton Street notified people with reservations today that it's closing until at least June 26 and says they can rebook at the nearby Marriott Copley Place: Read more.

Update, 9:50 a.m. Carl Stevens reports the items were a couple of bags of clothes. Streets reopened.

Dalton Street at Belvidere is currently shut as police investigate something there that shouldn't be there, in the area of the Sheraton. Scotia Street is also shut.
