Live Boston reports that around 9:30 p.m., a man showed up at the Boston Medical Center emergency room with a gunshot wound he told police happened in the area of Warren and Zeigler streets in Nubian Square.

Officers arriving at the scene after an alert from the BPD ShotSpotter system did not find them there, however - they walked into a local hospital's emergency room, after being dropped off by somebody in a rental Hyundai riddled with apparently fresh bullet holes.
