A Suffolk Superior Court judge today sentenced Washington Pearson, 56, of Lynn to 16 to 18 years in state prison following his conviction for breaking into an Arborway home in 2022 and, while armed with a large flathead screwdriver, strangling one of the women who lived there, sexually attacking her, then strangling again before running out with jewelry and other items, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Washington Pearson, 56, of Lynn, with a criminal record that dates to 1987, on charges he broke into a home on the Arborway in 2022, strangled one of the women living there into unconsciousness, sexually attacked her, strangled her again and then made off with her phone and jewelry, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
