this wouldn't be half as hard to bear if I hadn't fought my whole life through foster care and impossible odds to serve this great nation. This past month of serving my community has been the honor of a lifetime.

The Neponset River Greenway Council reports the same flooding that forced a water rescue on the Mattapan Line also covered the riverside trail "near the Baker Dam and under the Adams Street Bridge" and of course all that water froze and now the council is recommending you avoid the trail or "travel with caution" until the ice melts.

Unlike some of its neighbors, Boston doesn't think tonight's snowstorm warrants an emergency declaration, so just use common sense, clear your sidewalk and remember that, even if you don't live in the South End, you can't just save that parking space you shoveled out. At least, not legally.
