U-Haul with its roof peeled back by the North Harvard Street Bridge

Roving UHub photographer Paul K. reports he was inbound on Soldiers Field Road down by Harvard Stadium today when he "hit a wave of traffic and saw a mangled U-Haul backing up."

He adds that if you look up the bridge the driver will probably never hit again on Google Maps, it's actually marked "low clearence" (so, yeah, Google Maps needs some spelling help).

WCVB provides the eye-in-the-sky coverage of a storrowing this morning on Soldiers Field Road. Judges award it a 9.5 out of 10 - perfect roof-peeling form, instant traffic backup, plenty of exposed cartons. Bonus half point awarded for attempting to sail down the road while towing an SUV. Point deducted for failing to scatter contents across the roadway.

Truck on tracks

Why, yes, the B Line is stuck this rush hour because the driver of a U-Haul van somehow managed to get it stuck on the tracks near the BU Bridge. Annie Whitehouse, who captured the moment for posterity, suggests:

U-Haul stuck on the tracks at the BU Bridge is the most Allston thing to ever happen.

At least since the last most Allston thing to ever happen, back in 2015.

Crashed U-Haul in Roslindale

Sean Owen was awoken by a crash around 4:30 a.m. on Alder Street, when a U-Haul came flying down the street and then crashed into a yard. For some reason, the driver didn't stick around to wait for police.

Yesterday's U-Haul crash.

Or is that redundant? In any case, Pos7ed explains why he hates the Mass. Ave. U-Haul.

If you're going to post fake accolades for the company, you might want to post from outside the company.

U-Haul sucks.
