CommonWeatlh Beacon reports on the transformation of the Melnea Cass Recreation Center into temporary shelter for immigrants, at least through May 31. CommonWealth notes Gov. Healey and Mayor Wu toured the site today and were met by protesters, some of whom are actual Roxbury residents and some of whom are the rag-tag anti-vaxxers who used to stand outside Wu's house banging on buckets but who had been looking for something else to scream through bullhorns about other than the evils of masks.

City Councilors decided today to begin focusing on what to do if Steward Health Care, which runs St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton and Carney Hospital in Dorchester, goes under - and to deal with the more immediate issue of Walgreens closing yet another pharmacy in Roxbury and CVS in the Fields Corner Target. Madison Park High School and the O'Bryant School, which are next to each other on Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury, went into "safe" mode Friday afternoon because of what school officials say was a swatting: Somebody called Boston Police to report somebody was on the grounds of one of the schools with a gun, only when police arrived, they determined it was a hoax.
