Beth: I've officially had it with Matt Clement.
The Couch Potato doesn't like to hit somebody when he's down, but has to say: it's become an exercise in excruciating agony to watch him pitch.
Teddy: Some people are not meant to pitch in Boston; I think Matt Clement is one of those people.
Dan loves the idea of getting Lowe back, in part because he seems to thrive under pressure, in part because, well:
... Clement, I'm afraid, is going to be Matt Young-ized if he stays here, not just because of his own skittishness but because many Boston fans are spoiled, mean-spirited yahoos. (That is, unless you think the hapless Mark Bellhorn deserved to be hounded out of town.)
