The state's list of beaches where you need to not even think of going into the water, include Savin Hill and Tenean beaches in Dorchester, Houghton's Pond in Milton and Walden Pond in Concord.

WBZ reports on the release of an annual water-quality report for local beaches. King's Beach in Lynn was a particular issue, what with "filthy, bacteria laden discharges from both Lynn and Swampscott" winding up there.
Shrimply Pibbles chronicled a flooded Tenean Beach, at the mouth of the Neponset River in Dorchester, early this morning.
Starting tomorrow, DCR is closing the parking areas and spaces along the water from Constitution Beach in East Boston to Castle Island and down to Wollaston Beach because too many people were showing up at the beaches and not spacing themselves out enough.

Dot Malone surveyed the waterfront and flooding in Neponset Circle and at Tenean Beach at high tide this afternoon.
In the morning, DCR warned flooding could shut Morrissey Boulevard, but, of course, it only takes a princeling tide, or even just a spilled cup of coffee, for that.

UPDATE: Logan the labradoodle back with owners, safe and sound.
Logan, a year-old mini labradoodle, was last seen around 3:45 p.m. yesterday at Tenean Beach.
He has an olive drab collar with a neon orange stripe. He's small, maybe 20 lbs., and dark brown.
