A Harvard University shuttle bus was driven up onto the sidewalk and crashed into The Garage Mall near Tasty Burger last night, according to the Harvard Crimson. Authorities have not yet determined why this happened.

The Boston Licensing Board yesterday gave Tasty Burger a license to start slinging burgers and chicken on buns at 48 Winter St., near Tremont, but deferred action on its request for a separate beer and wine license, which would have set it up for a high-end burger war with the beer-selling Mooyah around the corner. Boston Restaurant Talk chews over plans by the local chain to open an outlet, possibly with beer and wine, at 48 Winter St., near Tremont Street, and a short walk from the competing Shake Shack on Washington Street and Burger King on Tremont Street.
The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded at 1:40 a.m. to Tasty Burger, 69 L St., for a blaze that did an estimated $150,000 in damage and shut down the take-out eatery. The cause is under investigation.
There were no injuries.
Boston Restaurant Talk reports the locally grown Tasty Burger is getting all cease-and-desist upside Chipotle's head over its plans for a burger chain called Tasty Made - with a logo in the same exact colors as Tasty Burger's.

Tasty Burger thinks there's a market for a burger bar that also serves up beer and wine in the diesel-filled confines of Back Bay station.
The local chain goes before the Boston Licensing Board next week for permission to buy the beer and wine license of the defunct Parlor Pizza in West Roxbury for a proposed restaurant that would also feature 30 patio seats on Dartmouth Street - as well as entrances on both Dartmouth and Clarendon.
In addition to permission to buy the beer and wine license, Tasty Burger is also seeking permission to stay open until 2 a.m.
