Boston Police report arresting a South Boston man, not for beating somebody up on Costello Way in the West Broadway development around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, but for the "Springfield Armory model XDM-9 firearm with one round in the chamber and eighteen rounds in the magazine" officers say they found him with shortly after over at B Street and Flaherty Way. New developer revives plans for condo building on Dorchester Avenue at the Haul Road in South Boston

A man was stabbed on B Street near West 5 St. around 10: 30 p.m. John Duffill reports he was found a couple blocks away on Dalessio Court.. The homicide unit was called in because of the the seriousness of his injuries.
