The Boston Fire Department reports a fire that started at 16 Nightingale St. shortly before 7:45 a.m. spread to 12 Nightingale St. and went to four alarms before firefighters were able to bring it under control. Read more.
UPDATE: Man was shot on Nightingale, walked into local hospital.
Around 8:50 p.m. at Intervale Street at Coleus Park and on Nightingale Street between Wales Street and Talbot Avenue.
Boston Police report a man was fatally shot around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at 56 Nightingale St.
The man, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He is Boston's second homicide victim this year.
UPDATE: Victim identified as Phillip Woods, 23.
617 Images reports the three were shot at Nightingale and Wales streets around 2:20 a.m. The dead victim was pronounced at the scene. Boston Police report all three were men in their early 20s.
A bullet went through a wall and into a nearby resident's apartment.
