P.S. MBTA, I think I was a bit too hard on you in my previous letter. Today my commute was quick and painless. Miracle of miracles, when I arrived at my usually crowded above-ground stop on the green line this morning, an EMPTY train was waiting, and mind you, that station is not at the beginning or end of a line. How did you know that I couldn't have asked for a better occurrence on a Friday? Did you read my post from my yesterday? Not only was the train not overly crowded but the ride was relatively smooth and non-jerky. And finally, when I got to South Station to switch to the silver line, there was a giant Dunkin' Donuts cup handing out free T rides. I shook my head in wonder at my good fortune. Thanks!

I'm happy you had a good commute this morning after your ordeal the other day. I, however, am not letting the T (and Green Line in particular) off the hook so easily. I have driven to work for the last two days because I got so fed up with the service earlier this week.
I started to write why, but it got too long. I'm going to see if I can post it separately. Stay tuned.

Me and the Green Line get along fine these days...now that I take my scooter everywhere.
Oh Goody!

Another whiney liberal complaining about public transit! Let me ask you this, howsabout you lobby for higher taxes, or you drive to work? The green movement has died with the drop in gas prices, so fill up that Civic and get back on the road.
Just please, please...don't post about your commute. We don't care.
Where in the bill of rights does it give people the freedoom to piss and moan about everything under the sun? I must have missed that part.

Yeah, that pesky first amendment is buried so far under all the other amendments it's easy to miss.
Oh no!

Oh, no, the green movement died! No one told me!
(I'm pretty sure non-liberals complain about the T sometimes too.)
