Barney Frank vs. the LaRouchie

Video of a debate between Frank and his oppponent in the Sept. 14 primary, Rachel Brown. Brown opened by saying she wants to get rid of Obama, bring back Glass-Steagall and spend trillions on a project to move water from the mountains of Alaska and Canada to the deserts. Frank retorted that colonizing Mars is not the best use of federal funds.

BARNEY IS RIGHT!
Why not treat these wackos as wackos? Do you know how many young people I see earnestly listening to them. I am not quite sure our youngsters have been schooled to recognize despots on their march to the top. I don't see enough people expressing outrage about their poster of Obama as Hitler. I make a point of calling them Nazi creeps when I pass their card table in Coolidge Corner. Just loud enough for the them and the kid they've button holed to hear. What the hell is going on and why aren't we speaking out?
The candidate for the Tinfoil Hat party
This woman put a pair of little kids by the side of 6A in Dennis a couple of weeks ago. They were each holding up a sign depicting Obama with a Hitler mustache.
I know, it's a 'free country' but good God. Lyndon LaRouche nothing, Rachel Brown is more like Fred Phelps.
Barney Frank deserves a medal for even agreeing to debate this lunatic.
Good Fortune
I had the good fortune to meet Rachel Brown last summer at a protest in Rhode Island.
Recognizing the dining room table, I approached her and said:
Me: "I saw what Barney Frank said about you and thought it was very unfair..."
Her: "Thank you."
Me: "...to dining room tables."
She scowled at me and I told her that I'd be outing her on the internet as a LaRouche nutjob. After that I started photographing her.
Good times. Good times.

My favorite part of her reasoning was her response to why she has pictures of Obama in a Hitler mustache. She said she wanted to remind voters of the Holocaust because she feared it would happen again implying Obama would be the one to lead it. There are some seriously mislead, delusional and fucked up people in thee parts. Before I get too critical though, I'm reminded she didn't stab anybody to death for $20, some pizza and a joy ride.
Barney' happy to have this foil. She has no chance and he gets some coverage before the primary. He'll have a much tougher race in the general against a Republican opponent to be determined Tuesday.
Rachel vs. Barney
In response to this stupid comment, by "Anonymous", you are lying. Rachel Brown, the lady in question, was very specific in answering the question about the Hitler mustache on Obama-she specifically cited Hitler's T-4 (Google it) program, in which hundreds of thousands of Germans in Nursing Homes and hospitals were "euthanized"-murdered, on orders from Hitler, well before the concentration camps were started, because they were"lives not worthy of living", which cost too much to keep alive. Today, we have "Obama-care", in which cost cutting is the policy-not health care and human life, but cost cutting! That is a Nazi policy! Thank God someone has the balls to say it and to fight it!

Barney Frank has so far made great sport of destroying lunatics in public venues using rhetoric. Why should he stop at teapartiers in town halls when he's got such a ripe piece of work running for Senate?

In case people didn't recognize the musical composition that opened the "debate", it's the "Danse Macabre" by the French composer Saint-Saens; nice touch.
Rachel cleaned his clock
Rachel Brown mopped the floor with Barney Frank in the debate, and Barney just sat there lying and sputtering...he can't open his mouth without lying. He agreed to the debate because he had to! Rachel's colleague, Kesha Rogers, won the Democratic Primary in Texas (22nd CD), in March, because she campaigned to save NASA and Impeach Obama! She won 53% of the vote in a 3-way race-a landslide! That's why Barney is so scared, and insisted the debate would be in a TV studio with NO audience, in his home base of Newtown-what a coward! But who didn't know that?
NAWAPA, to solve the water shortage in the U.S. and create millions of skilled jobs, and green the Great American Desert-that's a great thing-what about NASA? Remember JFK? FDR? Democrats used to promote scientific progress and industry-not bailing out Wall Street and London swindlers, like Barney does!
What about Glass-Steagall-why are Barney and Obama so opposed to it?
Well, you know, Lincoln said "You can fool some of the people all the time, all the people some of the time, but YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME!"
